Your.Committee on Governmental Operations and External Affairs, to which was referred
Communication No. 118, reports as follows:
Communication No. 118, transmitted by Mayor Mitchell D: Roth, dated February 15, 2023,
requests the Council's review and confirmation of the nomination of Dawn Raymond to the
Liquor Control Adjudication Board.
Deputy Managing Director Bobby Command was present in the Kona Chambers to introduce
Ms. Raymond, who was present in the Hilo Chambers.
Pursuant to Article 7, Chapter 3, Section 7-3.3 of the Hawai`i County Charter, members of the
Liquor Control Adjudication Board shall be appointed by the Mayor and confirmed by the
Council.
Your Committee on Governmental Operations and External Affairs is in accord with the purpose
and intent of Communication No. 118, and recommends confirmation of the appointment of
Dawn Raymond to the Liquor Control Adjudication Board.
