SUBJECT: Update on County's Comprehensive Emergency Management Plan
By means of this communication, I am requesting a 15 minute update followed by a 30 minute
discussion with Civil Defense on the County's Comprehensive Emergency Management Plan.
Pursuant to subsection 7-14(a) of the Hawaii County Code,the comprehensive emergency
management plan shall be developed and maintained by the civil defense agency to ensure
coordination in all phases of emergency management and filed with the County council.
Please place this matter on the appropriate committee for meetings scheduled on April 4, 2023.
