.. <br /> COUNTY OF HAWAII STATE OF HAWAII <br /> FIFE O...... <br /> RESOLUTION NO. 94 23 <br /> A RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING THE ACCEPTANCE OF A <br /> DONATION OF A SOD CUTTER TO THE COUNTY OF HAWAII <br /> DEPARTMENT OF PARKS AND RECREATION. <br /> WHEREAS, the West Hawai`i Veterans Cemetery Development and Expansion <br /> Association is donating one (1) sod cutter to the County of Hawai`i Department of Parks and <br /> Recreation; and <br /> WHEREAS, this sod cutter, valued at approximately $6,400, will be utilized to <br /> support the maintenance of the West Hawai`i Veterans Cemetery in Kailua Kona; and <br /> WHEREAS, Article XIII, Section 13-12 of the Hawai`i County Charter, provides that the <br /> council, on behalf of the county, may accept gifts of donations of money, securities, or other <br /> personal property or of real estate or any interest in real estate; and <br /> WHEREAS,the Department of Parks and Recreations recommends the acceptance of this <br /> donation; now, therefore, <br /> BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE COUNTY OF HAWAII, in <br /> accordance with Article XIII, Section 13-12 of the Hawaii County Charter,the County of <br /> Hawai`i, accepts this donation. <br />
