I am asking that you please consider passing Bill 22 WITH community input which includes: `'- -
- Humane animal population management(including spay and neuter)
- Transperancy in all shelter operations activities and budget
-reinstitute the Shelter Activity Report Monthly
- an oversight committee, NOT a simply a "taskforce" to help create the responsibilities, Standard Operating
Procedures and policies, but TRUE oversight to rebuild trust and transperancy.
I also urge that you support CM Jenn Kagiwada's amendment: Communication 91.39 to Bill 22 for the new
Animal Control Agency to make bi-annual reports to the Council on their operations.
