Enclosed is a bill for an ordinance appropriating funds from the fund balance
account for the Solid Waste Fund. Also enclosed is a B-52 form explaining the
reasons for appropriating these funds.

5604.01-011 SWD-Reg S&W Retro and pay increase from new contract agreements
5604.02-109 SWD-Equip Repairs $100,000 increase in equipment repair and replacement
costs for unanticipated repairs
5604.02-115 SWD-Misc Contr Svcs a) $200,000 contract with Walker Consultants for
unanticipated cost needed for the fire containment
at the Kailua Landfill
b) $150,000 for security coverage at transfer stations to
cover transition period
