Re: Operating Budget
Enclosed is a bill for an ordinance amending the Operating Budget by appropriating
$47,000 from the Golf Course Fund Balance from Previous Year account to the
Department of Parks and Recreation's Golf Course OCE account. These funds will be
used to cover higher than anticipated expenses for water, electricity, and gas.

The Department of parks& Recreation.Hilo Municipal Golf Course is incurring higher than anticipated
expenditures for water and electricity utilities and fuel due to increased prices, rates and consumption,
Because of these increases, there is au anticpated shortfall to these areas of the operating budget for the
golf course.
