HomeMy WebLinkAboutRES 119 Draft 01 2022-2024 COUNTY OF HAWAII •f.6 STATE OF HAWAII art uF•Nt•.P RESOLUTION NO. 119 23 RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING THE PAYMENT OF FUNDS OF A LATER FISCAL YEAR AND OF MORE THAN ONE FISCAL YEAR FOR A MULTI-YEAR LEASE OF ONE (1) SUPER DUTY 4X4 TRUCK WITH UTILITY CABINETS INCLUDING AUTO CRANE FOR THE DEPARTMENT OF ENVIRONMENTAL MANAGEMENT WHEREAS, Section 10-11 of the County Charter requires that any contract, lease or other obligation requiring payment of funds from the appropriations of a later fiscal year or of more than one fiscal year be approved by resolution; and WHEREAS, the County of Hawaii wishes to enter into a multi-year lease agreement for five (5) years, for one (1) Super Duty 4x4 truck with utility cabinets including auto crane; and WHEREAS, this truck will be used by Department of Environmental Management, Solid Waste Division's Construction Equipment Mechanic to perform repairs maintenance on heavy equipment; now therefore, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE COUNTY OF HAWAII: 1. That the Mayor is hereby authorized to enter into a five (5) year lease agreement for the equipment as indicated above, for the Department of Environmental Management, Solid Waste Division. 2. That sufficient funds be budgeted in future fiscal years to cover the anticipated obligations of the County under the terms of the agreement. BE IT FINALLY RESOLVED that the County Clerk of the County of Hawaii shall transmit copies of this resolution to the Office of Management, the Finance Department and the Department of Environmental Management.
