.4":7...... . <br /> COUNTY OF HAWAII •(A ';' 'fit STATE OF HAWAII <br /> .o. <br /> . 7TH OF•N,41_. <br /> RESOLUTION NO. 122 23 <br /> A RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING THE ACCEPTANCE OF THE <br /> DONATION OF A 2012 ACURA TSX FROM THE STATE OF HAWAII <br /> DEPARTMENT OF THE ATTORNEY GENERAL TO THE HAWAII <br /> COUNTY OFFICE OF THE PROSECUTING ATTORNEY. <br /> WHEREAS, the State of Hawaii Department of the Attorney General is donating <br /> a 2012 Acura TSX to the Office of the Prosecuting Attorney; and <br /> WHEREAS, this vehicle, with an estimated value of$9,000, will be utilized by the <br /> Office of the Prosecuting Attorney for law enforcement purposes; and <br /> WHEREAS, Article XIII, Section 13-12, of the Hawaii County Charter provides <br /> that the Council, on behalf of the County, may accept gifts of donations of money, <br /> securities or other personal property or of real estate or any interest in real estate, and <br /> Chapter 2, Article 30, Section 2-162 (a) of the Hawaii County Code states that any gifts <br /> or donations of money, securities, or personal property which fall within the <br /> capitalization procedures of the Department of Finance, may be accepted by resolution <br /> approved by the Council; and <br /> WHEREAS, the Office of the Prosecuting Attorney recommends the acceptance <br /> of this donation; now, therefore, <br /> BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE COUNTY OF HAWAII that in <br /> accordance with Article XIII, Section 13-12, of the Hawaii County Charter, and Chapter <br /> 2, Article 30, Section 2-162(a) of the Hawaii County Code, the Council of the County of <br /> Hawaii accepts this donation. <br />
