REQUEST FOR EXECUTIVE SESSION
Dear Chairwoman Kimball and Hawaii County Council Members:
Pursuant to Haw. Rev. Stat. § 92-5(a)(4), we request attorney-client
confidential discussion, in executive session, to consult with the County Council on
questions and issues pertaining to its powers, duties, privileges, immunities, and
liabilities regarding the above-referenced matter, including a discussion regarding
settlement.
We ask that this case be placed on the Council agenda to discuss matters
requiring County Council approval. If granted, I will appear before the Council in
person in Hilo Council Chambers.
Although this request is after March 30, 2023, I am hoping it's possible to add
this item to the agenda for April 19, 2023, However, if this is not possible, the next
available date is fine.
