Re: Operating Budget
Enclosed is a bill for an ordinance appropriating $20,000. As one of 55
organizations selected from more than 300 applicants nationwide, the Office of
Aging has received a grant from the Philip Morris Companies, Inc. as part of the
Senior Helpings 1998/99 national initiative. This grant will fund 2,200 ethnic
meals for 20 at-risk, native, homebound seniors in rural areas.
