Re: Resolution for multi-year agreement
Enclosed is a resolution authorizing the payment of funds for more than one fiscal year,
for high resolution imagery for the Hawaii County Police Department in order to provide
the Hawaii Police Department and the Hawaii Fire Department with the ability to
access the latest imagery of subdivisions, businesses, developments, and roadways
around the Island of Hawaii. The cost is estimated at$516,735.75 per year for four
years.

A. REQUEST:

The Hawaii Police Department is requesting to enter a multi-year contract with Pictometry International Corp.
dba EagleView in the amount of$516,735.78 per year for 4 years, to provide high resolution imagery of
various locations around Hawaii Island. The total cost of this 4 year project will be $2,066,943.12.
B. BACKGROUND AND JUSTIFICATION (USE ADDITIONAL SHEETS AS NEEDED)•
The requested multi-year contract with Pictometry International Corp. dba EagleView, will provide the Hawaii
Police Department and Hawaii Fire Department dispatch personel, and authorized department staff members
the ability to access the latest imagery of subdivisions, businesses, developments and roadways around the
island of Hawaii to conduct their jobs more effectively and efficiently.
Funding for the contract will be reimbursed by the Enhanced 911 Board.
