s+3v 0!. <br /> COUNTY OF IIAWAI`I STATE OF HAWAII <br /> RESOLUTION O. <br /> RESOLUTIONII THE PAYMENT OF FUNDS OF A LATER <br /> FISCAL YEAR AND OF MORE THAN ONE FISCAL YEAR <br /> MULTI-YEAR CONTRACT FOR HIGH RESOLUTION IMAGERY FOR <br /> THE HAWAII COUNTY POLICE DEPARTMENT <br /> WHEREAS, Section 10-11 of the County Charter requires that any contract, lease <br /> or other obligation requiring payment of funds from the appropriations of a later fiscal <br /> year or of more than one fiscal year be approved by resolution; and <br /> WHEREAS, the County of Hawaii, Police Department wishes to enter into a new <br /> four (4) year, multi-year agreement with Pictometry International Corp. dba Eagle View; <br /> and <br /> WHEREAS, this agreement provides authorized personnel from the Hawaii Police <br /> Department and the Hawaii Fire Department with the ability to access the latest <br /> imagery of subdivisions, businesses, developments, and roadways around the Island of <br /> Hawaii; and <br /> WHEREAS, this high-resolution imagery will allow Police and Fire to conduct their <br /> jobs more effectively and efficiently; now therefore, <br /> BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE COUNTY OF HAWAII: <br /> 1. That the Mayor is hereby authorized to enter into a four (4) year <br /> agreement for access to the high-resolution imagery, as described above, <br /> for the Police Department. <br />
