A RESOLUTION TRANSFERRING/APPROPRIATING AN APPROPRIATION OUT AND FROM A DESIGNATED FUND ACCOUNT AND CREDITING THE SAME TO A DESIGNATED FUND ACCOUNT TO PURCHASE CONCRETE TO CONSTRUCT
THE THIRD PHASE OF ROOTS SKATE PARK IN NORTH KOHALA.
WHEREAS, Roots Skate Park provides the North Kohala community with a safe recreational environment for skateboarding; and
WHEREAS, much of the funding, materials, and labor for the construction of Roots Skate Park has been donated by local community members, though additional funds are needed; and
WHEREAS, the Department of Parks and Recreation has previously committed to provide funding assistance for necessary construction expenses; now, therefore,
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE COUNTY OF HAWAI‘I that Contingency Relief funds from Council District 9 will be appropriated to the Department of Parks and Recreation to purchase
concrete to construct the third phase of Roots Skate Park in North Kohala.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the Council of the County of Hawai‘i hereby transfers/appropriates the following amount as set forth below:

is hereby authorized to make the necessary transfers in accordance with the terms of this resolution.
