Your Committee on Finance, to which was referred Resolution No. 120-23, reports as follows:
Resolution No. 120-23, transmitted by Finance Director Deanna Sako, via Communication No. 216
dated March 30, 2023, authorizes the payment of funds of a later fiscal year and of more than one fiscal
year for a multi-year lease of one Super Duty 4X4 pickup truck with the utility cabinets including auto
crane for the Department of Environmental Management.
This resolution authorizes the Mayor to enter into a five-year lease agreement with an
approximate monthly cost of $4,700 to perform pump removal/installations, scheduled
maintenance, and repair work at various pump stations and treatment plants for the Wastewater
Division.
There was no discussion on this measure.
Pursuant to Section 10-11 of the County Charter requires that any contract, lease or other obligation
requiring payment of funds from the appropriations of a later fiscal year or of more than one fiscal year
be approved by resolution.
Your Committee on Finance is in accord with the purpose and intent of Resolution No. 120-23, and
recommends its adoption.
