A RESOLUTION TRANSFERRING/APPROPRIATING AN APPROPRIATION OUT
AND FROM A DESIGNATED FUND ACCOUNT AND CREDITING SAME TO A
DESIGNATED FUND ACCOUNT FOR PARK REPAIRS AND IMPROVEMENTS AT
VOLCANO SKATE PARK AND OTHER PARK FACILITIES IN COUNCIL
DISTRICT 6.
WHEREAS, the Department of Parks and Recreation provides the public with many
diversified recreation programs in our park facilities and gyms that address the needs and
interests of the community in a safe and well-maintained environment; and
WHEREAS, Volcano Skate Park and other park facilities in Council District 6 require a
variety of repairs and improvements; and
WHEREAS, these repairs and improvements include, but are not limited to, facility
renovations, fencing, and landscaping; now, therefore,
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE COUNTY OF HAWAII that
Contingency Relief funds from Council District 6 will be appropriated to the Department of
Parks and Recreation for park repairs and improvements at Volcano Skate Park and other park
facilities in Council District 6.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the Council of the County of Ilawai`i hereby
transfers/appropriates the following amount as set forth below:

010.101.5101.91 Clerk-Council SVC—Contingency Relief $10,000
CREDITED TO:
010.801.5801.33 Department of Parks and Recreation $10,000

BE IT FINALLY RESOLVED that the County Clerk shall transmit a copy of this
resolution to the Director of Parks and Recreation and Director of Finance, and that the Director
of Finance is hereby authorized to make the necessary transfers in accordance with the terms of
this resolution.
