Aloha,
My name is Steve Hirakami and I have been an active user of the Pohoiki
ramp and bay for 50 years. I have launched my boats from hii since
1979 to 2018when, of course, the ramp became inaccessible. It should
be a priority for our governments, both State and County, with available
disaster funding from the Federal level to get access for the many users
of this area. This is a critical need for not only Puna but the rest of Hawaii
Island and the State of Hawaii.
