Aloha,
My name is Dale Harrington and I am a director on the Board of Directors for Domestic Violence Hurts Animals and
People. 1 joined the board because 1 believe our non-profit can help outdoor dogs have a better life.
Currently we are hoping to get funding to start our free dog house program. We will partner with island high schools
who have wood shops and give the students an opportunity to learn how important it is to help those who cannot speak
for themselves while learning how to build these dog houses. As you may be aware, many outdoor dogs suffer from a
multitude of challenges negatively affecting their health and personality including being bitten by fire ants and constant
exposure to the rain and sun without shelter.
We would appreciate receiving this funding so we can help these outdoor dogs have a better life.
