Subject: Please take next step NOW toward safe sewage management near Kahalu'u
Aloha County Council members, Mayor Mitch Roth, Director of Environmental Management Ramzi Mansour,
Director of Finance Deanna Sako and Deputy Managing Director Robert Command,
Please include a line item in the 2023-2024 budget for Kahalu'u Bay - Sewer Future with ample funding to pay
for the Environmental Impact Statement or an Environmental Assessment and engineering plans to get this
one mile of sewer line "'shovel-ready", to apply for federal and state funding.
Please take this necessary step toward protecting the health of our people and our ocean environment by
replacing cesspools and septics now!
