Aloha Hawai`i County Council Members,
I am writing in strong support of Bill 194. I ask that you vote in favor of overriding Mayor Roth's veto.
Bill 194 increases transparency by making zoning extensions a public process rather than an administrative one
with little to no accountability to the public and to the law. Without this measure, special interests can continue
to influence land use on our island and we will continue to struggle with increasing land prices and housing
availability.
Its time toput the residents of the Island ahead of the developers and this is one wayto do it! N
