Aloha Council!
Please override the mayor's veto of Bill 194.
We've all seen the problems caused by repeated zoning
extensions over many years.
We definitelyneed much more oversight from the council & the

public on these endless extensions.
We know there can be a huge gap from the original zoning from
years prior, to our current situation. This gap can have
devastating consequences for residents - in lack of
critical infrastructure & maintenance, emergency services,
schools, traffic, evacuation routes, potable & ocean water
quality, etc.
Just driving in Kailua-Kona yesterday is absolute proof the
Planning Dept. needs more babysitters.
Please veto the veto of Bill 194.
