Subject: Bill 194.
Aloha Hawai`i County Council Members,
Please vote in favor of overriding Mayor Roth's veto as we strongly support this bill.
We understand that Bill 194 increases transparency by making zoning extensions a public process rather than an
administrative one with little to no accountability to the public and to the law. Without this measure, special
interests can continue to influence land use on our island, and we will continue to struggle with increasing land
prices and housing availability.
Please support our voice and pass Bill 194 again. Mahalo nui loa.
