Aloha Hawai'i County Council Members,
I am sending this email in support of Bill 194.
I respectfully request that you all vote in favor of overriding the veto of Mayor Roth.
The proposed Bill 194 increases transparency, by making zoning extensions a public process
instead of an administrative one .
This adds very much needed and otherwise missing accountability to the public and to the law.
Without this measure, special interests can continue to influence land use on our island,
resulting in continuing struggle with increasing land prices and housing availability.
