Aloha Council Chair Kimball and Council Members:
I am pleased to nominate Mr. Justin Ackerman of District 9 to the Game Management Advisory
Commission.
Mr. Ackerman served his entire career in the Naval Special Warfare as a Special Warfare
Combat Crewman. He led combat operations around the world and served as a Naval Special
Warfare Force Chief Warrant Officer.
Mr. Ackerman grew up hunting and fishing in Tennessee. He is a federal firearms Instructor and
has been actively hunting. He is currently retired and volunteers his time to counsel military
veterans on retirement goals and hardship. If confirmed,he will serve a term ending December
31, 2023.
