A RESOLUTION TRANSFERRING/APPROPRIATING AN APPROPRIATION OUT AND FROM A DESIGNATED FUND ACCOUNT AND CREDITING SAME TO A DESIGNATED FUND ACCOUNT FOR THE DEPARTMENT OF PARKS AND RECREATION
TO PURCHASE SUPPLIES FOR RECREATIONAL ACTIVITIES IN WEST HAWAI‘I.
WHEREAS, the Department of Parks and Recreation, Recreation Division, provides or assists in the facilitation of organized athletics, aquatics, and arts-and-crafts activities for all
age groups at recreation facilities across the island; and
WHEREAS, the Department of Parks and Recreation is requesting funds to purchase supplies for recreational activities that include, but are not limited to, pickle ball, tennis, and its
summer fun program in West Hawai‘i; now, therefore,
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE COUNTY OF HAWAI‘I that Contingency Relief funds from Council District 8 will be appropriated to the Department of Parks and Recreation to purchase
supplies for recreational activities in West Hawai‘i.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the Council of the County of Hawai‘i hereby transfers/appropriates the following amount as set forth below:

BE IT FINALLY RESOLVED that the County Clerk shall transmit a copy of this resolution to the Director of Parks and Recreation and Director of Finance, and that the Director of Finance
is hereby authorized to make the necessary transfers in accordance with the terms of this resolution.
