A RESOLUTION TRANSFERRING/APPROPRIATING AN APPROPRIATION OUT AND FROM A DESIGNATED FUND ACCOUNT AND CREDITING SAME TO A DESIGNATED FUND ACCOUNT FOR THE DEPARTMENT OF PARKS AND RECREATION
TO PURCHASE EQUIPMENT AND SUPPLIES FOR ITS RECREATION PROGRAMS AND ACTIVITIES IN COUNCIL DISTRICT 2.
WHEREAS, the Department of Parks and Recreation provides the public with many diversified recreation programs in our park facilities and gyms that address the needs and interests of
the community in a safe and well-maintained environment; and
WHEREAS, Council District 2 has various park facilities in need of additional equipment and supplies for its recreation programs and activities; and
WHEREAS, the Department of Parks and Recreation is requesting funds for recreational equipment, supplies, and other miscellaneous expenses relating to its programs and activities; now,
therefore,
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE COUNTY OF HAWAI‘I that Contingency Relief funds from Council District 2 will be appropriated to the Department of Parks and Recreation to purchase
equipment and supplies for its recreation programs and activities in Council District 2.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the Council of the County of Hawai‘i hereby transfers/appropriates the following amount as set forth below:
