Aloha Council Chair Kimball and Council Members:
I am pleased to nominate Dennis Riordan of District 6 to the Salary Commission.
Mr. Riordan has been a resident of Hawaii for 45 years and worked as the Operations Manager
for 13 years with the Are of Kona. He has also dedicated 15 years of service to the County of
Hawai'i as the West Hawai'i Parks and Maintenance District Superintendent.
Mr. Riordan is a founding member of Ka "Ohana 0 Honu'apo, a community organization
committed to protecting the natural and cultural resources of Honu'apo. If confirmed, he will
serve a term ending December 31, 2027.
