SUBJECT: AN ORDINANCE NCE AMENDING CHAPTER 14 OF THE HAWAII COUNTY
CODE 1983 (2016 EDITION, AS AMENDED), BY ADDING A NEW
ARTICLE RELATING TO CONCURRENT INSTALLATION OF ELECTRIC
VEHICLE CHARGING STATIONS WITH THE INSTALLATION OF NEW
GAS PUMPS AT RETAIL SERVICE STATIONS.
Please find attached a bill for an ordinance amending chapter 14 of the Hawaii County Code
1983 (2016 Edition, as amended), by adding a new article relating to concurrent installation of
electric vehicle charging stations with the installation of new gas pumps at retail service stations.
We are requesting that this bill be placed on the next available Committee Meeting agenda.
