RESOLUTION NO. 191 23
A RESOLUTION TRANSFERRING/APPROPRIATING AN APPROPRIATION OUT
AND FROM A DESIGNATED FUND ACCOUNT AND CREDITING THE SAME TO A
DESIGNATED FUND ACCOUNT TO PURCHASE AN ICE MACHINE FOR THE
NORTH KOHALA FIRE STATION.
WHEREAS, there are many improvements that need to be implemented at existing fire
stations and other facilities of the Hawai`i Fire Department to support departmental operations;
and
WHEREAS,these improvements include a replacement ice machine at the North Kohala
Fire Station; now, therefore,
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE COUNTY OF HAWAII that
Contingency Relief funds from Council District 9 will be appropriated to the Hawai`i Fire
Department to purchase an ice machine for the North Kohala Fire Station.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the Council of the County of Hawai`i hereby
transfers/appropriates the following amount as set forth below:

OUT AND FROM:
010.101.5101.91 Clerk-Council SVC—Contingency Relief $3,267
CREDITED TO:
010.221.6223.06 Hawai`i Fire Department $3,267
Fire Auxiliary Services Equipment
457 Fire Station Equipment
(North Kohala Fire Station—Ice Machine)
BE IT FINALLY RESOLVED that the County Clerk shall transmit a copy of this
resolution to the Fire Chief and the Director of Finance, and that the Director of Finance is
hereby authorized to make the necessary transfers in accordance with the terms of this resolution.
