SUBJECT: Proposed Amendment to Bill No. 30, Draft 3, the Proposed Operating Budget for
Fiscal Year 2023-2024
Below is a proposed amendment to Bill No. 30, Draft 3, the proposed Operating Budget for fiscal
year 2023-2024, to amend appropriations in the following General Fund revenue and expenditure
accounts:
• Increase the Fund Balance From Previous Year revenue account by $80,000;
• Increase the P&R Adm OCE, Misc. Contract Services expense account by $20,000 for
fireworks display in West Hawaii; and
• Increase the Culture & Education OCE, Misc. Contract Services expense account by
$60,000 for fireworks display in East Hawaii.
The above amendments to the General Fund accounts are shown in detail in the table below:
