COWNTY OF HAWAII _* NATE OF HAWAII <br /> er. �Mef•�\ <br /> ,TF Ui•HA.f4 <br /> RESOLUTION NO. 19' 23 <br /> A RESOLUTION TRANSFERRING/APPROPRIATING A APPROPRIATION OUT <br /> AND FROM A DESIGNATED FUND ACCOUNT AND CREDITING SAME TO A <br /> DESIGNATED FUND ACCOUNT FOR THE DEPARTMENT OF PARKS AND <br /> RECREATION TO PURCHASE SUPPLIES FOR ITS RECREATION PROGRAMS IN <br /> COUNCIL DISTRICT 7. <br /> WHEREAS, the Department of Parks and Recreation provides the public with many <br /> diversified recreation programs in our park facilities and gyms that address the needs and <br /> interests of the community in a safe environment; and <br /> WHEREAS, the County of Hawaii believes that children participating in organized <br /> sports tend to achieve higher results in school, develop excellent interspersonal skills, and lead <br /> healthier lives, and <br /> WHEREAS, the Department of Parks and Recreation is requesting funds for recreational <br /> equipment, supplies, and other miscellaneous expenses to support educational sports programs <br /> and activities in Councl District 7; now, therefore, <br /> BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE COUNTY OF HAWAII that <br /> Contingency Relief funds from Council District 7 will be appropiated to the Department of Parks <br /> and Recreation to purchase supplies for its educational sports programs and activities in Council <br /> District 7. <br /> BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the Council of the County of Hawaii hereby <br /> transfers/appropriates the following amount as set forth below: <br /> FUND: General <br /> AMOUNT OF <br /> APPROPRIATION: $10,150 <br /> OUT AND FROM: <br /> 010.101.5101.91 Clerk-Council SVC—Contingency Relief $10,150 <br /> CREDITED TO: <br /> 010.500.5507.02 Department of Parks and Recreation $10,150 <br /> Recreation Division—OCE <br /> 225 Educ-Recr-Scientific - Supplies <br /> (Recreational Supplies—Council District 7) <br />
