SUBJECT: Proposed Amendment to Bill No. 30, Draft 3, the Proposed Operating Budget for
Fiscal Year 2023-2024
Below is a proposed amendment to Bill No. 30, Draft 3, the proposed Operating Budget for fiscal
year 2023-2024, to amend appropriations in the following General Fund revenue and expenditure
accounts:
• Increase the Fund Balance From Previous Year revenue account by $120,000;
• Increase the Police Adm Div-Equip, Misc. Equipment expense account by $20,000 to add
a new line item for the purchase of a LUCAS chest compression device; and
• Increase the EMS Equipment, Misc. Equipment expense account by $100,000 to add a
new line item for the purchase of five LUCAS chest compression devices.
The above amendments to the General Fund accounts are shown in detail in the table below:
