Dear Council Members,
I'm very pleased by the County's move to create an Office of
Sustainability, Climate, Equity and Resilience. The situation on Earth is dire
and getting worse by the minute. It's my sincere hope that this office will
have binding authority to hold all other offices and agencies of the County
Of Hawaii accountable and responsible for following the measures that the
OSCER puts forth. Furthermore, the OSCER needs to be completely
transparent and open to the public for testimony, advice and guidance.
