Testimony of Bobby Brown in support of Resolution 164-23

I fully support this resolution to proceed with project and am thankful it is moving forward.
It is a daily concern that there could be another major water leak resulting in lost water, money and time. Weekly, I take
the time to stop at the meter at the top of the highway, take a picture and make sure there is zero flow. Quarterly, I walk,
crawl, climb through the back of the makai side properties checking for leaks. All the neighbors watch and communicate
with each other and yet, even with these efforts occasionally there's a big leak.
The addition of a fire hydrant also gives peace of mind, as well as a properly paved roadway.
I would especially like to thank District 8 Council Member Holeka Goro Inaba, Ed.D. as well as his Legislative Assistant
Wendy P. Baez and Comm. No. 'Lu 1.4
