Aloha Council Members, ``•'
We are very much in favor of Resolution 164-23, that will create the Kohanaiki Homesteads Water
Improvement district to install a waterline to our homes just makai of the Mamalahoa Highway in
North Kona. We are in full support, Please vote YES!
Having lived on Iki Place since 2001. We have been without water dozens of times and had to self
repair which often takes muliple days.... to locate leaks, repair pipes, allow dry time, and regain water
usage
This often happens more than once a year.
This is a great hardship, often the only warning is to hear all the water pipes in our house drain!
Or to arrive home, and have no water come out of our faucets!!!
To have security in water is long overdue.
The extreme occurrences has resulted in 300,000+ gallons of water lost equaling thousands of
dollars, plus the time spent, frustrations, injuries and aggravations.
With your help everything can change.
We can have the ease with the invaluable resource of water, a basic human right.
We greatly appreciate your sensitivity and support of resolving this plight for our neighborhood and
this basic needs for life. Nothing exists without water!
