Subject: In Support of Resolution 183-23
Aloha Council Members,
I am writing to support Resolution 183.23, "A Resolution Transferring/Appropriating and Appropriation Out and From a
Designated Fund Account for Repairs at the Hawaiian Acres Volunteer Fire Station."
In the past six months,the Hawaiian Acres community has been hit with significant issues, including the volunteer fire
department building's catchment failure and the main community center building destruction through fire.
Unfortunately, these issues exceed the association's budget capacity to replace these essential community
infrastructures.The funds from this resolution will assist us in replacing the fire department building's roof and
catchment system.
I appreciate your consideration and an affirmative vote for this resolution, and thank you for all your time in service to
Hawaii County.
