Subject: Upcoming budget
Can you please budget for double the jail cells and prison cells.We are tired of the criminal merry-go-round that is
allowed. Law enforcement is arresting people who are then back out in public shortly thereafter due the judicial branch
allowing minimal bail. Officers are doing their job. I believe that over the last 4 years due to covid criminals were cycled
right back out. It's past time for this to stop. Prosecutors need to start prosecuting these criminals and keep them
behind bars, especially those that keep committing crimes. 20%of the criminal commit 80%of the crime.You are not
caring for your community properly when you let criminal parasites back out to injure or steal from others. If we have
more jail and prison cells they can serve their time. While it may not rehabilitate them, at least for a period of time the
public is protected. We could use either surplus covid money(infection control for prisons/jails) or have bonds to help
pay for this.
