Chair and Members <br /> Hawaii County Council <br /> Hilo, Hawaii 96720 <br /> Your Committee on Legislative Approvals and Acquisitions, to which was referred Resolution. <br /> No. 188-23, reports as follows: <br /> Resolution No. 188-23, transmitted by Deanna S. Sako, via Communication.No. 312, dated.May <br /> 18, 2023, authorizes the payment of funds of a later fiscal year and of more than one fiscal year for <br /> a multi-year lease of real property for the Department of Environmental Management. <br /> This resolution.authorizes the Mayor to enter into a five-year lease agreement with the option to <br /> renew for two additional five-year terms with Giampaolo Boschetti and Donna-Jean. Walden, for <br /> approximately 14,704 square feet of warehouse space and secured parking at an estimated monthly <br /> cost of$8,500. <br /> Environmental Management Deputy Director Brenda Iokepa-Moses, explained that construction. <br /> work will displace their operations crew and this lease will allow them to continue operations <br /> without interruption.
