Re: Nomination of Aelani Keolanui to Youth Commission
I am pleased to submit Aelani Keolanui as my nominee for District 2 member of the Youth
Commission.
I had a chance to meet with her recently in my office and found Aelani to be a well-spoken
young woman. She is a rising Junior at Hilo High School. Aelani will bring a unique perspective
to the Youth Commission with her family background in farming and their experience and
commitment to growing healthy food for our community.
Please place this item on the next GOEAC committee agenda.
