Pursuant to HRS § 92-5(a)(4), we request attorney-client confidential discussion in
executive session,to consult with the County Councils on questions and issues pertaining to its
power, duties,privileges, immunities, and liabilities regarding the above-entitled matter,
including a discussion regarding a litigation filed by Ian Scott Mattoch and Daniel P. Kirley, on
behalf of Nathan Smith.
We ask that this case be placed in the Council's July 6,2023 agenda to discuss matters
requiring County Council approval.
