Re: Bill Relating to Upper Waiakea Stream Flood Control Improvements
Enclosed for your review and approval is a bill amending Ordinance 99-71, Relating to Public
Improvements and Financing for $900,000.00. Its purpose is to study and evaluate the flooding
problems of the Waiakea-Uka area and the Waiakea Stream above Komohana Street, and to
provide flood control improvements. As numerous flooding has occurred in this area, the
proposed study and improvement projects will benefit the homeowners in the area.
