Subject: Testimony in support of Bill 50
Dear Members of the Policy Committee on Climate Resilience and Regenerative Agriculture,
Aloha and thank you for the opportunity to submit testimony. I want to thank Councilmember Inaba for his leadership in
introducing Bill 50 and respectfully ask you all to support it. It is great to see Hawai'i County considering this step on
decarbonization. I hope that it will pass and that it will lead in the future to the County prohibiting any new fossil fuel
stations and pumps as part of the County's efforts to transition to clean energy.
