I fully support this resolution to proceed with project and am thankful it is moving forward. Comm: X90.

It is a daily concern that there could be another major water leak resulting in lost water, money and time.Weekly, I take
the time to stop at the meter at the top of the highway, take a picture and make sure there is zero flow. Quarterly, I walk,
crawl, climb through the back of the makai side properties checking for leaks. All the neighbors watch and communicate
with each other and yet, even with these efforts occasionally there's a big leak.
The addition of a fire hydrant also gives peace of mind, as well as a properly paved roadway.
I would especially like to thank District 8 Council Member Holeka Goro Inaba, Ed.D. as well as his Legislative Assistant
Wendy P. Baez and
DWS Engineer Ryan Quitoriana and Finance Director Deanna Sako for all their efforts moving this resolution forward.
