Aloha Council Chair Kimball and Council Members:
I am pleased to nominate Heather Korotie to the Kona Community Development Plan, Action
Committee.
Heather is a 13-year resident of Hawaii. She pursued her education at the University of
California, Santa Cruz (UCSC), where she obtained a Bachelor of Arts degree in Women's
Studies in 1995. Heather has been involved in eco-tourism and wellness entrepreneurship,
focusing on developing and promoting sustainable and responsible practices.
As a resident of South Kona, Heather has been an active community volunteer investing in
sustainable practices and promoting responsible development within her community. If
confirmed, she will serve a term ending May 31, 2027.
