Aloha Council Chair Kimball and Council Members:
I am pleased to nominate Gary Jaster to the Kona Community Development Plan, Action
Committee.
Gary has been a resident of Hawaii for 6 years. He earned a Master of Education degree from
the University of Arkansas Little Rock. He also obtained his Bachelor of Arts in Sociology from
Quincy University. Gary offers a unique perspective having worked in municipal government for
fifteen years and currently working with families as a Domestic Violence Specialist.
If confirmed, he will fill Kari Kimura`s holdover seat with a term ending May 31, 2027.
