Aloha Council Chair Kimball and Council Members:
I am pleased to nominate Nancy Pisicchio to the Kona Community Development Plan, Action
Committee.
Nancy has been a resident of Hawaii for 47 years. She served as a member of the Hawaii
County Council from 1998-2002. She also worked with the County of Hawai`i`s Department of
Research and Development and the Department of Planning. In addition, Nancy served as the
Executive Assistant to Mayor Harry Kim from 2016-2020.
One of Nancy's significant achievements was the operation of her 11-acre farm in Keauhou from
1992-2016. Nancy is currently retired, however, she is enrolled online with the University of
Hawaii, Manoa seeking to expand her knowledge and expand her understanding of various
subjects, including community planning and land use issues. If confinned, she will fill Shirley
David's holdover seat with a tern ending May 31, 2024.
