Aloha Council Chair Kimball and Council Members:
I am pleased to nominate Zarine Dorabji to the Kona Community Development Plan, Action
Committee.
Zarine has been a resident of Hawaii for 19 years. Her educational background, which includes
a Bachelor of Arts degree in Environmental Studies and Women's Studies from the University of
California, Santa Crtiz in 1998, demontrates her passion for addressing complex issues and
fostering sustainability.
Zarine`s employment, volunteer, and professional experiences further showcase her
committement to community development and her ability to effect positive change. If confirmed,
she will fill Janice Palma Glennie`s holdover seat with a term ending May 31, 2024.
