Aloha Council Chair Kimball and Council Members:
I am pleased to nominate Richard Bidleman to the Hamakua Community Development Plan,
Action Committee.
Richard has been a resident of Hawaii for the past 17 years. With a Bachelor of Arts in
Economics from the University of California Berkeley, Richard offers a strong educational
foundation that allows him to analyze complex issues and propose effective solutions.
Richard served on the Infrastructure Committee for the Puna Community Development Plan in
2000. His volunteer work with Friends of the Pahoa and Honoka`a Libraries and the Hamakua
Lion's Club exemplifies his passion for fostering community engagement and supporting
essential community services. If confirmed, he will serve a term ending December 31, 2025.
