Aloha Council Chair Kimball and Council Members:
I am pleased to nominate Tisha Maikui to the Hamakua Community Development Plan, Action
Committee.
Tisha`s deep roots in Hawaii,particularly in the Waipio Community where she resided for over
25 years, demonstrate her strong connection to and understanding of the local community.
Tisha`s current employment at the Hamakua Youth Center at Laupahoehoe School highlights her
dedication to serving the youth and fostering their growth and development.
Tisha`s involvement in community service and volunteering in various capacities highlights her
desire to continue supporting her community and advocating on their behalf. Tisha will bring
valuable insights and perspectives to the committee's decision-making processes. If confirmed,
she will fill Carol Ignacio`s holdover seat with a term ending December 31, 2025.
