Re: Operating Budget
Hawaii Community Foundation is providing $200,000 to the County of Hawaii to assist
with the delivery of services offered by Financial Empowerment Centers. The funds will
be used to support no-cost financial and ownership counseling provided by a certified
U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development counseling service provider.
Enclosed is a resolution accepting this grant award. Also enclosed is a bill for an
ordinance amending the Operating Budget by appropriating this $200,000 grant.

The Office of Housing and Community Development ( H ) is requesting to amend Ordinance 22-63
by appropriating the following:
Revenue:
H F-Financial Empowerment Services (Private) 152,3607.XX $ 200,000,00
Expenditure.
HGF-'Financial Empowerment Services- Program 152A61.5466.XX $200,000,00
Please also submit a resolution to authorize the Mayor to execute and submit all required agreements and
other related documents to Hawaii Community Foundation.

funding to support the delivery of services offered by Financial Empowerment Centers was approved b
