SUBJECT: District 9 Appointment to Youth Commission: Abigail-Zoe Garan
Aloha,
I am pleased to appoint Abigail-Zoe Garan of District 9 to the County of Hawaii Youth
Commission with a term ending February 6, 2024.
Abigail-Zoe Garan is a 16-year-old resident of I Idwi. She attends Kealakehe High School, where
she enjoys studying chemistry and STEM, playing golf and volleyball, and participating in the
Student Credit Union and Japanese Club. These experiences, passions, and interests will make
Abigail-Zoe a beneficial voice on our inaugural Youth Commission.
Please place this communication on the next Governmental Operations and External Affairs
committee agenda.
